Our Love
Story
Although Brooke and Bryce were in school together since the first grade, it wasn't until high school that their paths actually crossed. Though it may seem hard to believe with how small Linwood is and given that there were only two Bryce's in the entire community - Edmunds and Zelig - it makes sense that they never really interacted until that point. If you knew them at the time, you know they couldn't have been more different. As time progressed, opposites attracted and Brooke and Bryce became inseparable, attending their senior prom together, going on trips, and dreading the idea of going to different colleges. When the time came, the two mutually decided to part ways (though Bryce will tell you a different story), to focus on their next chapters - Bryce's at James Madison and Brooke's at Penn State.
Even the distance in college didn't prevent Brooke and Bryce from catching up, spending time together, and staying present in each other's lives. As the pandemic hit in 2020 and Bryce knew Brooke had moved back home for remote law school, he decided it was time to pick up where they left off and get back together officially. Many of you may be familiar with the term Bryce lovingly coined, "so back," to describe their relationship, even before Brooke had formally accepted his invitation to begin dating again. Despite getting back together years later, seemingly no time had passed, and no one's friends or family seemed surprised in the slightest, in fact most had bets on when it would finally happen.
Just about four years later, it's come full circle as the two live in Somers Point, a town over from where they grew up, and enjoy spending their time with friends, family, on the boat, traveling, and obsessing over their dog, Captain.
